Meet Sarah T., a WK foster based in Charlotte’s Wesley Heights, who shares her home with two orange kittens — Poppy, the pajama-wearing queen, and Shrimpy, a fearless blind explorer.
In just four months, Sarah has fostered seven kittens, recently celebrating adoptions of “The Cocktails,” Tini and Cosmo, featured to the right.
Her home is a feline paradise, complete with Litter Robots, towers, and toys galore. One unforgettable moment? Comforting a terrified 6-month-old foster who had an accident her first night. Instead of scolding, Sarah offered love—and watched her blossom into Poppy’s snuggle buddy.
When she’s not fostering, Sarah’s out exploring breweries, boating on the lake, or traveling (sometimes with her cats!).
Her “why” is powerful: giving cats the love and safety they may have never known.
Fostering began as a way to bring light into her own life—and in return, these little lives gave her purpose, joy, and a whole lot of purrs.
