Meet Brittany C

Meet Brittany from Waxhaw, NC! In just three months (started Spring 2025), Brittany and her fiancé Adam have opened their hearts and home to a mama cat and her three kittens— affectionately named Bloom, Bud, Petunia, and Dahlia. Their laid-back household is full of love (and climbing walls!), and while Brittany is no stranger to fostering dogs, this was her first time fostering cats. “I’m always up for a challenge,” she says—and taking in a stray mama with 7-day-old kittens certainly qualified!

Watching Mama Bloom learn to trust and the kittens grow into confident, curious little explorers has been a deeply rewarding experience. When she’s not caring for animals, Brittany loves hiking, riding motorcycles with Adam, and enjoying the great outdoors. Her lifelong passion for helping animals—no matter the breed — shines through in everything she does.
