Meet Amy F

Say hello to Amy F. from Mint Hill, who shares her home with a lively crew of six cats — ranging from 18-year-old Izzie to playful one-year-olds Ray and Simone. Since July 2024, Amy has fostered six WK cats, including her current quad: Jolene, Clementine, Willa and Eva.

Her home is a feline dream, complete with sunny spots, quiet spaces, Litter Robots, and plenty of cozy nooks. One of her favorite memories? Seeing Caleb (now Dawson) go to a loving home—and still getting updates from his adopters!

Amy’s “why” is rooted in her years working in veterinary medicine, where she longed to contribute more directly to rescue. Now, with a home of her own, she’s doing just that—giving cats the care and comfort they deserve. When she’s not fostering, you’ll find her gardening, curled up with her cats, or watching documentaries (ask her about any—she’s probably seen it!).
